About us

Equipping Servants. Proclaiming Truth. Transforming Churches.

St. Julians Anglican Training Course is a ministry within the Provincial Mission Board. We exist to provide in-service training for all word workers. These include Clergy, Evangelists, Catechists, Chaplains and Lay Readers within the Anglican Church in Kenya. Delegates attend a one-week residential class for four years. Each year is divided into three terms of one week each with discipleship classes during the three months’ break.

Our main goal is raising disciple making word workers who preach faithfully and relevantly so that God’s voice is clearly heard and obeyed.

We do that by equipping them with skills for Bible exposition, Church and Family Discipleship and Culture watching.

We long to see Anglicans who love the word of God and live by it.

🔍 How We Differ From Other Theological Training

We emphasize on do it yourself practical skills before consulting other academic sources. We equip the word workers with the soft skills that are vital for effective bible handling, discipleship and culture watching in the church. We equip them to preach/teach the word of God to all ages in their congregations. At the end of each training session the learners go away feeling more confident to handle books of the bible. The training takes away guess work and pegging of thoughts to the bible by giving simple skills to hear and obey the message intended to the original hearers. It makes any preacher to respect the original purpose of the bible authors.
